Not because I had to — but because I wanted to see what the sky looked like when Boracay slowly opened its eyes.

The first light peeked over the horizon, brushing soft gold across the ocean.
I walked past the iconic “I ♥ BORACAY” sign. The palm trees danced in the wind, and the clouds held onto the last bits of night.
As I reached the shore, the view changed.
Every second, the light shifted — like the sky was painting itself in real-time.

I stood still. Just breathing. Just watching.
Then I climbed up to the edge of the island. The greenery, the vast sea, and the dramatic clouds felt like a scene out of a movie.

Far in the distance, it looked like rain was gently falling in streaks — but where I stood, it was calm. Quiet.
After all that beauty, I needed to recharge. So I headed to the gym and pool.

Sat under an umbrella. Coffee in hand. Feet up.
No rush. No noise. Just stillness.
This is how Boracay greets you.
Not with fireworks — but with whispers. With color. With space to breathe.
And I think… this is exactly what I needed today.
